Cody is a Southern California native but lives, works, and writes in wooded Southern New Hampshire.  He is a Technical Writer in the software industry by day and a poet by night.  The views expressed in this blog are his own.

Cody’s poetry and prose has been published in various literary journals including Ellipsis, Split Lip Magazine, North Dakota Quarterly, and others.

One of the primary features of a truly free society is the ability of citizens to openly express their views.  And while even some of the most intelligent and capable among us succumb to apathy, it is important that we strive against that quiet reservation.  Here is where he strives.

  1. Hi Cody, just wanted you to know I’ve been enjoying your site and the interesting things you post. I “discovered” Matthew Dickman’s poetry here and will be posting a blog about him next week while I’m away on vacation. I’ll be plugging your site as well so folks can tune in to the Zen Center reading.
    Take care,

Hello Deborah, I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment and plug my post. I’m glad you’ve been enjoying Matthew Dickman. He’s certainly one to keep your eye on. He’s coming out with a new book this October, I believe, so keep your eye out for that. I might even do a review of it if I can find time. Cheers.

  2. Cody, I just nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. You can find out more about the award and why I nominated you in my latest post at http://deborahbrasket.wordpress.com/2012/11/19/the-beauty-of-blogging-a-tribute-to-fellow-bloggers-and-followers/
